The HRT LBAC Plate Carrier (Load Bearing Adaptive Carrier) is a multi-role, load-bearing plate carrier designed for extreme modularity, allowing users to navigate obstacles while maintaining comfort and support under additional weight. The core strength of the LBAC is its advanced chassis system, which makes carrying larger loads easier without the typical weight penalty. This is achieved through an ultra-lightweight, stiffened cummerbund core that creates a rigid structure capable of efficiently distributing weight across the entire body. By transferring load away from common pressure points to areas better suited for heavy carry, the LBAC makes hauling extra munitions, breaching tools, or other mission-essential gear far more attainable.

Developed from the ground up using real-world experience and customer feedback, the LBAC is engineered to be exceptionally flexible and adaptable. The chassis’ default configuration fits torsos from 30” to 50”, and with the XL core can support up to 58”. Shoulder straps are widely adjustable and feature configurable quick-release buckles that can be set up for right- or left-handed shooters, or removed entirely. The stiffened cummerbund core can be run slick for maximum weight savings or configured with different sleeves to meet specific mission requirements, making the LBAC as close to a true “one-size-fits-all” solution as possible without sacrificing performance.

The LBAC is constructed from 500 Denier Cordura treated with DuPont Teflon for durability and resistance to the elements. It features attachment points for an integrated Duraflex buckle system on the chest (included on HRT placards), allowing users to quickly don or doff additional equipment as operational needs change. A proprietary dual back-panel design with dual zipper sections enables extensive rear-panel customization for a wide range of tasks.
