These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases of products (“Products”) from HRT Tactical Gear (“HRT,” “Seller,” “we,” or “us”) by any customer (“Buyer,” “you”). By placing an order via our website, in-person, or through any other sales channel, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must cancel your order before it enters processing or return the Product in accordance with our Return Policy.

1. Applicability

These Terms apply to all sales of Products by HRT. No additional or conflicting terms provided by Buyer shall be binding unless expressly agreed to in writing by HRT. HRT reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and such changes apply to orders placed after the effective date.

2. Payment Terms

  • Payment must be received and approved before an order is accepted unless prearranged credit terms exist.

  • Accepted payment methods include credit card, wire transfer, or approved alternative methods.

  • HRT may reject or cancel any order at any time in its sole discretion, including due to pricing errors, product availability, or suspected fraud.

  • Invoices, where applicable, are due within 30 days of invoice date.

3. Price Protection Policy

HRT offers a one-time price adjustment if a Product purchased directly from HRT is reduced in price within 14 days of purchase. Exclusions:

  • Holiday sale pricing

  • Promotional or discounted purchases

  • Final sale or clearance items

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Proof of purchase is required.

4. Sales Tax

HRT collects sales tax in all U.S. states where legally required. Tax is calculated based on shipping origin/destination.

Buyers claiming tax-exempt status must provide valid exemption documentation prior to purchase.

5. Product Information & Orders

HRT strives for accuracy but does not warrant that product descriptions, availability, instructional materials, or other content on the website are error-free. All information is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

HRT may refuse or cancel orders, with or without cause. If an order is canceled after payment, a refund will be issued.

Firearms and tactical equipment involve inherent risks. Buyer assumes full responsibility for safe handling, compliance with laws, and proper use of all Products.

6. Changed or Discontinued Products

HRT may modify or discontinue any Product at any time without notice. If a Product in your order is no longer available, HRT may offer a comparable alternative or cancel the affected portion of the order.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • HRT’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

  • HRT IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

  • NO WARRANTY IS CREATED BY ANY PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS, ADVICE, OR INSTRUCTIONS EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN WRITING.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; only allowable limitations apply to you.

8. Compliance With Law

Buyer represents they are of legal age and legally permitted to purchase and possess the purchased Products.

Certain Products (e.g., body armor, triggers, knives) may require specific age or licensing requirements. Buyer is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.

9. Not for Resale or Export

Products are sold for end-use only and may not be resold or exported without compliance with U.S. export laws (including ITAR and EAR).

Buyer agrees to hold HRT harmless for any violation arising from improper resale, transfer, or export.

10. Shipping Policy

  • Standard order processing time for in-stock orders is typically 48–72 hours (business days).

  • Shipping time estimates shown at checkout do not include processing time.

  • Orders placed Friday–Sunday typically ship within 1-2 business days unless a holiday applies.

  • Buyers receive tracking information via email once shipped.

  • Backorders may require several weeks or even months to fulfill, and we cannot guarantee specific delivery timelines. If a backordered item is delaying your full order, HRT may, at our discretion, split the shipment and send any in-stock products separately.

  • Ballistic Plates and Armor are shipped directly from the manufacturer and could have lead times.

  • Orders returned to HRT due to incomplete/incorrect addresses will be refunded minus shipping costs

11. Shipping Rates

Shipping charges shown at checkout are estimates. Actual carrier-assessed charges may vary, and HRT reserves the right to adjust shipping costs at the time of shipment.

12. Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Shipments

Once a package is transferred to the carrier, the carrier assumes responsibility.

HRT is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

Buyers must file claims directly with the carrier and retain all packaging materials.

13. Undeliverable & Incorrect Addresses

It is the Buyer’s responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at the time an order is placed. Orders that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address—including but not limited to missing apartment numbers, invalid street information, recipient not available, refusal of delivery, or failure to pick up the package—will be returned to HRT by the carrier.

Returned Undeliverable Orders

If an order is returned to HRT as undeliverable:

  1. HRT will reach out for the correct address.

  2. If HRT does not hear back within 7 business days, the order will be refunded to the original payment method minus the original shipping charge.

Reshipment of Returned Orders

HRT may, at its discretion, offer the Buyer the option to have the order reshipped.

  • HRT will typically reship the order one time at no additional cost, unless otherwise stated for certain product categories or high-value orders.

  • If multiple reshipments are required due to repeated address issues, future shipping costs will be the responsibility of the Buyer.

Corrections After Order Placement

If the Buyer realizes that the shipping address was entered incorrectly:

  • Buyers must contact HRT immediately to request an address correction.

  • HRT is not responsible for address changes requested after an order has shipped, and carriers may not allow mid-transit address modifications.

Liability

Once an order has been delivered to the carrier, HRT is not responsible for delays, delivery failures, or return-to-sender situations caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the Buyer.

14. International Shipping

International shipments may incur additional transit time and high shipping rates.

Buyer is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, tariffs, and import fees.

15. APO/FPO/DPO Shipping

Shipments to military addresses may require additional transit time and may have limited tracking visibility.

16. Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges

NO RETURNS/EXCHANGES ON BALLISTIC PLATES AND ARMOR

A. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled for a full refund before shipment.

If an order cannot be stopped before leaving the warehouse, Buyer is responsible for shipping charges.

B. Returns

Returns must:

  • Be requested and received within 30 days of order delivery

  • Include all original packaging, accessories, and materials

  • Be in 100% new, unused, unaltered, undamaged, and resaleable condition

Exclusions:

  • Final sale/clearance items

  • Promotional giveaway items

  • BOGO/discount-related free items

Restocking Fees:

  • Up to 20% for products not meeting the Return requirements outlined above (at HRT’s discretion)

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Buyer is responsible for return shipping and risk of loss.

Unapproved returns will be refused.

C. Exchanges

  • Subject to current inventory availability.

  • Packaging requirements and restocking fees mirror the Return Policy.

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and risk of loss (we recommend insuring your returns).

  • Unless otherwise stated, shipping for all exchanges back to the Buyer are free (once per order).

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

All disputes shall be brought solely in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.

Buyer consents to jurisdiction and venue in these courts.

18. Promotional Policy

Promotions (including % off, free shipping, BOGO, Buy More Save More, etc.) are subject to the following:

  • Valid only during published promotional periods

  • Cannot be applied to past or future orders

  • Cannot be combined with other offers

  • HRT reserves sole discretion over promotion eligibility and duration

  • Return, Exchange, and Shipping Policies may differ during promotions

    • These may include but are not limited to the following:

      • Order Changes:

        • Due to the high volume of orders, we are unable to make any changes once an order is placed. This includes combining orders, canceling, adjusting sizes or colors, updating addresses, and more. Please triple-check your cart and make sure everything is correct before completing your purchase.

      • Exchanges:

        • We are unable to offer exchanges on purchases made during the sale. However, our standard return-for-refund policy still applies. If you are unsure about sizing, consider ordering both sizes and simply return the one that does not fit.

      • Returns:

        • Our normal return policy applies during the sale. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

      • Shipping Times:

        • During major sales like Black Friday, order volume skyrockets—not just for us, but for shipping carriers as well—so please expect possible delays. Our team will be working hard to get every order out as quickly as possible, but email response times may also be slower than usual. Backordered items may take several weeks to ship. As a reminder, all armor ships directly from the manufacturer and typically has lead times.

Buy More / BOGO Conditions:

If a return reduces the qualifying purchase below the promotional threshold, the discount is forfeited and pricing is adjusted accordingly.

Free Shipping:

Shipping method is selected at HRT’s discretion and applies only to HRT website purchases.

19. Additional Terms

  • HRT may correct pricing or content errors at any time.

  • Product images may differ slightly from final production units.

  • Availability is not guaranteed until order acceptance.
