The Advanced Weapon Light System, or AWLS, is the new standard in modern weapon mounted lights. The AWLS was designed from the ground up to be a simple, reliable, modular, ambidextrous solution that adapts to any situation.
The PSF-Mk6 LED head has an industry-leading max output of 90,000 candela and 1,700 lumens (raw). It is the only compact weapon light on the market that gives you more than 600 yards of beam distance allowing the user to PID threats from afar. A uniform spill for close-range navigations will still allow for close encounters with a 5500k daylight-balanced color temperature for true-to-life color rendition. For best performance we recommend using our 18650 batteries but will also work on (2) CR123A batteries at a reduced output.
The body is available in direct MLOK mount and is fully reversible offering unrestricted mounting options. Our Full Size 18650 body is powered by one 18650 or two CR123A batteries. The unibody design is far stronger than using cumbersome adapters.
The Valhalla Tactical Omni Directional Activator, or ODA completely redesigns how an operator approaches white-light activations. The extremely intuitive yet reliable mechanism offers the speed and accuracy of traditional remote switches without any of their drawbacks. And because the ODA frees up valuable flat-top real-estates, users can now easily segregate their visible vs IR activations. This makes unintended white light activations far less of a problem vs. using traditional remote switches. Furthermore, the oversized tail cap houses a 10-Amp rated switch for future proofing and can be locked out for transportation with a simple quarter-turn. Last but not least, the ODA’s sensitivity is user adjustable to the operator’s needs.

This is my first rifle light, so take that into account. With that being said, I had done lots of research and watched many YouTube reviews. I was considering the Cloud Defensive Rein, but they were on intergalactic backorder. I came across this product on the Tactical Considerations channel on YouTube.
I have to say that I’m very impressed with the lighting system. I love the low profile setup and how the mount is built into the light, not requiring extra pieces or bulk. It’s very low profile and works great with my MLOK rail. The tail cap is an ingenious design. It’s firm enough that you don’t have to worry about a lighting ND, yet not too firm to make activation even questionable. You can change the internal rings to customize the activation, but the standard one worked great for me. I’m right handed, so I have it mounted on the left side of my DDM4 V7 Custom, just forward of my BCM grip. It’s a perfect fit, is easy to reach for momentary activation, and is a perfect location for pressing the button for constant on. I also really like how it’s a complete kit that doesn’t require you purchasing lots of accessories, mounts, etc. Plus the lack of cables and a remote button just makes it very clean, compact, and no worry about bulk or snagging.
I did have a question for the company, so I reached out to them via email. I had a response to my question in a matter of hours. Overall I’m very impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to get another one, or tell people about how great it’s been so far. I also noticed (after I purchased mine) that John Lovell from WPS he started selling them from his site, as well. This reaffirmed my decision, as I know he doesn’t endorse/back just anybody.
