The HRT HydroMax Pack Zip-On Back panel was designed with the purpose of versatility. The large single pocket design allows users to properly carry hydration along with supplies that can be easy access for team members. With the expandable design the HydroMax Pack can go from a compact profile to large profile capable of holding mission critical supplies like a jacket or helmet. The lower outer pocket can hold your administrative items or additional supplies with the top outer pocket is able to accept any of our maximus line of inserts to configure the pouch for your specific needs.
This is the ultimate solution for swapping loadouts with one core plate carrier and numerous rear Zip-On panels to suit any mission. Secured attachment with YKK zippers and button loops, our Zip-On panels provide several options for carrying extra gear, ammunition, and equipment for your operational needs. Compatible with the RAC and LBAC Plate Carrier.
Fits hydration bladders up to 1.5L along with the 3L CamelBak Crux Lumbar.

My second one is in woodland color (first Multicam black), it is the perfect addition to my gear, it is rugged and design is great, I love the two hook & loop panels compared to the competition which are most of the time only one velcro panel. Anyway this is an outstanding piece of gear, can’t wait to have it in Multicam Tropic and Arid.

The product was top notch. Problem was it took a very long time to receive the product. I ordered direct from HRT and I ordered another HRT from a separate vender which I still have not received. I thought the delays should have been communicated immediately when the back order became the problem. in the futureI will call before I order.

Color Matching. I really do like the wear, modularity, and positioning of their plate carriers. I just dont understand how a company that is so good in every aspect cannot color match the plastic detachment to the color of the cordura fabric. I originally bought their first version of the plate carrier in OD green and the plastic detachment were basically FDE tan. I was not happy but whatever. I recently bought 3 multi-cam tropic and the plastic attachment is black. I got the color because of the environment that I could use this plate carrier. Having black in the this type of camouflage does not make any sense, because black is not a natural color in the environment. It can happen sometimes of course but is not common and does not go with the this. They should have Green plastic attachment to best match the camouflage pattern of the their plates carriers. Thats my only and only issue. Everything else the company is great.

Lots of room! Whether you run a water bladder or not, this panel gives you a lot of storage space, as well as two exterior compartments that can be used for more mags, bangers, medical, or whatever else you need.

Way better than having multiple gear at the range, could easily take it off when about to shoot and put it back on as easy. I just don’t clip the back straps when taking it to the range, only when going on runs. I’m running it off a shellback tactical banshee elite 2.0 fits perfectly. A disclaimer, you need the HRT Zip-on Panel MOLLE Adapters to attach this to any other plate carrier.

Low profile design with a surprising capacity. I really like how it comes with pre-laced zipper tabs and large hook/loop surface area. It lies very flat to the carrier so it maintains a semi-slick setup and has interior organizers so your gear doesn’t jostle around. Well made and durable. Very pleased

Just received my pack and it is better than I thought. I was able to fit the maximus panel in it with no problem and am able to hold a set of bolt cutters in the back with no problem. I do not yet have a bladder for it but was told by HRT it takes most 1L and 1.5L bladders and the CamelBak Crux Lumbar 3L bladder and plan to get one. Plenty of room on the back 2 pockets for I.D. Patched and morale patches. Overall I am very happy with the quality and design of this pack. Even though it took much longer to get than anticipated it is well worth the wait.

It says it will fit a 3L lumbar crux bladder, which is true, as long as that’s the only thing you want in the main pocket. If you want to carry anything else you’ll need to downsize to a smaller bladder. Hydration is important so I like to stick with the bigger one, unfortunately now I don’t have quite as much room as I had hoped for other supplies.

Quality of this item is exemplary, it is relatively comfortable but certainly is not like you’re just wearing a t-shirt, lol. I am 5’8 150 lbs and the one size fits all type design is in my opinion a little lackluster. If you need to wear an 8×10 plate then you were going to have a lot of material on the sides on the top and bottom and there is no way to adjust and tighten up this loose material. The same goes for other design plates there should be a way to adjust and tighten up loose material. In their description I think they miss the possibilities of the carrier itself, whether it was designed this way I’m not really sure but I was able to replace the maritime buckle from laying over my collarbone and now it has the design of the HRAC. Whether it was designed to do this I don’t know but I didn’t do it and I very much prefer it. Also removing the buckle gave me a little more material to be able to move the carrier up a little bit more. Nothing about this item is terrible but at the same time it’s modularity is lacking in the most important areas which is fit not how much Molle you can put on it.
